just had the weirdest interaction. this off-leash Yorkshire Terrier wobbled up to sniff my ankle, and then its owner said “the vet wanted to euthanize her”
and I was like “……oh”
and she said “4 years ago. she had a stroke, but I went to church and prayed to the Virgin Mary, and now she can walk again. but sometimes she drops, which is why I have this stroller”
and I was like “oh, okay.” I didn't know what to say after that, so I was just like "it's a cool dog" and kept walking
everyone is mocking her in the comments but I literally agree like I love taking pictures bc I love to look back on them but also taking ur phone out to film every 2 seconds or being on ur phone doing something else ....
considering how many transmascs were legitimately way angrier BEFORE starting T and have since calmed down significantly have we perhaps considered that maybe the reason so many cis dudes are angry and aggressive isn't because of testosterone but maybe. like. personal issues. unmet needs. a social climate that teaches them that there are only like three acceptable emotional outlets for men max and one of them is being angry and shouting

4 days until my half and i tried running, very easy jogging, a little this morning after 10k on the bike and it felt okay. i didn’t feel anything until i pushed it for short stretches, then i’d feel a little discomfort but nowhere near unbearable. definitely concerning though since i only did like 2 miles and i need to run 13 on saturday. i’m not running again until friday and that will be a v easy short shakeout run plus some downhills. i think the goal for this race is really just mental practice for april, especially with this extra obstacle of a minor injury. i need to play it safe but i am having a v hard time with that
